We are a motivated group that works hard to create a community where families and kids may participate in school life.
We have one employee for every four kids under the age of three.
We have one staff member for every eight children in the rising 3-5 age group, plus a nursery aide as necessary.
Qualifications: We employ 5 people full-time.
The following credentials are required: an MA in science, NVQ 3 and 4, a Montessori diploma, QTS, and early years professional status.
Sophie joined the team in 2020, and because she has an artistic background, we are looking forward to what she can bring to the Nursery School's creative side.
One of our main goals is for the kids to constantly feel supported in whatever they do and to thrive in a culture that values them and believes in their potential.
Throughout the term, we use tales that are related to a range of Bible themes to teach the kids about God and Jesus Christ.
The classes are engaging, and the subjects are made relevant to the kids' daily life.
The details of the topic are posted each week on a notice board in the school.
Together with the kids, we pray and sing songs.
Our goal is to work closely with families; we like including parents in the school and its activities because we think that learning at the pre-school is an extension of learning at home.
We are on a learning path. Teachers frequently use Tapestry to record observations and activities in which the students have participated.
The learning journey also tracks the development of the kids.
We plan a field trip for both adults and kids, and once a term, we give parents a discussion on a topic relating to parenting, education, or another connected topic.
A Parents Committee that supports the school and aids in fund-raising is something we hope to have.
At the end of term the children put on a small show for the parents, for example, a Nativity Play, a poetry recital or a dancing display.
