In our purpose-built Early Years Centre within the manicured grounds of South Hill Centre campus, we are a nurturing pre-school that is located near to the town centre. offering fantastic outdoor play, woodland play, and educational possibilities.
From the term after their second birthday until they begin school, Young Discoverers provides youngsters with high-quality learning opportunities. During the academic year, our classes are held from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm and from 12.30 pm to 3 pm, respectively. We have an open catchment policy and are commended for our dedication to special needs students and diversity.
We have a staff that is highly qualified and we keep the required employee-to-child ratio. We are routinely examined by Ofsted as a registered child care provider, and during our most recent inspection, we received a Good grade across the board.
In particular, it was stated that our "strong leadership, effective cooperation, and on-going self-evaluation provide good quality in the offering" when we obtained our third Herts Quality Standard Certificate in March 2014. We belong to the Pre-School Learning Alliance as well.
