From the YMCA Hawker Centre Holiday Playscheme
YMCA St Paul's Group, a registered charity operating throughout East, West, and South West London, is currently one of the largest YMCAs in Europe. Slough is where we also have a centre.
Its goal is to be an inclusive Christian association that transforms communities so that all young people can belong, contribute, and develop. YMCA St Pauls Group (SPG) is a charity and a licenced housing provider. As a part of the larger YMCA Federation, we aspire to create communities and environments where youth thrive.
Around 1,200 residents are given a safe place to stay each night by the Association, which is the largest YMCA in Europe and one of the leading suppliers of supportive housing in London and beyond. The Association's emphasis is on community transformation through its Health and Wellbeing Centers, children, youth, and family programmes, including nurseries, after-school clubs, and soft play areas, in addition to housing, care homes, education, and training.
Since our merger, our work has expanded to include West, East, South West, South London, and portions of Surrey and Berks (Slough). This has allowed us to be ambitious in our efforts to reach a greater number of individuals and communities.
Bishop Pete Broadbent of Willesden and Bishop Richard Cheetham of Kingston serve as our joint presidents.
