Wood St Nursery is a cosy, caring environment.
We will encourage parents who want to use actual nappies, incorporate recycling into the children's daily routines, and participate in a scrap project to gather items for arts and crafts that can be salvaged from the landfill.
We have participated in Elizabeth Jarman's Communication Friendly Spaces training, and we apply her theories to make sure the daycare is a productive learning setting that fosters kids' emotional and physical growth.
includes small, medium, and large block play using the Froebel model, allowing kids to build fun structures for their own amusement as well as to assist small world play (for the characters of the dinosaurs, cars, farm animals, wild animals, people, etc.) and role play (building a den, fire engine, walkway, shop, cafe etc.).
