Linda and Paul Dargan founded Wishing Well Nursery more than 25 years ago.
Childcare is my life's work, Linda stated. Even though I've worked in this industry since being a qualified NNEB more than 36 years ago. I still enjoy helping children grow, spending time with them, and getting to know their families. We intended to serve parents with all of their childcare needs by offering a high-quality service that also included an after-school and summer camp. Because of its fantastic location, ample room, and outdoor areas, Paul and I decided to turn this building into our nursery. Although it is located in the town centre, Myrtle Park and many other neighbourhood amenities are nearby.
Our goal is to establish a pleasant, impactful, and compassionate atmosphere where children can feel safe and grow healthily.
From birth to age five, development happens quickly, and early childhood education lays the groundwork for future learning.
We offer a kid a safe, secure, social, and emotional setting where they can learn through play, experimentation, and skill development in a less formal setting.
Every child should have access to the EYFS curriculum at the right level for them. Since we haven't pursued any professional teaching qualifications, early childhood practitioners don't typically link the word "teaching" with our job. However, early childhood professionals are teachers; we instruct kids every day.
We are pleased with ourselves for getting a good Ofsted grade because of this.
