From the Whitsers
At Whitsers, we strive to create an environment where children (ages 2 to 4) can enjoy themselves while feeling safe and secure, and where there is an atmosphere of mutual trust. Children should feel valued and respected, and they should understand that learning is fun and is an integral part of their play and everything else they enjoy.
Through play, we hope to cultivate in each child a love of learning that will last a lifetime as well as the critical social skills needed to contribute to the larger community.
Early childhood is the cornerstone upon which children construct the rest of their lives; it is not merely a period of development but is essential in and of itself.
Every youngster should be loved and appreciated in order for them to respect and value others as well as themselves.
Young children learn best via play, and at Whitsers, they must have the chance to explore both the indoor and outdoor environments.
A child should be seen as an integral component of the family and the larger community. As a result, we invite neighbourhood friends and parents to actively participate in the playgroup's activities.
Children should grow to be independent learners, self-assured problem solvers, and sustained learners;
delivering the best possible educational experiences in a secure, exciting, and safe setting.
