To suit the many phases of growth, the Whitchurch Pre-school Nursery is separated into age groups, and we offer a choice of activities and equipment to satisfy their requirements.

We provide 4 hours of free taster sessions to assist your child in settling into the nursery. These sessions will give your child the chance to become familiar with the nursery environment, give parents the chance to talk about their child's routine, and allow children and parents to start forming relationships with their key person.
Please fill out an enrollment form and submit it to the office to secure a spot.
The Nursery Manager or Deputy reserves the right to seek medical attention in an emergency.
Wellington boots allow us to enjoy the wintertime outdoors to the fullest.
You are more than welcome to bring in a container of powdered formula milk so we can prepare your child's milk feeds (please ensure staff are informed about the quantity required).
We encourage kids not to bring toys, food, or sweets from home because doing so might lead to arguments and breakable or lost objects.

You will receive a Parent Pack with all terms and conditions when you visit the facility.
When your kid joins our programme, they will be given a "keyperson," which designates one of our practitioners as the child's primary familiar caregiver.
They will be the "key" person in charge of organising their activities and opportunities while also keeping an eye on your child's educational development while in our care.
Each child's growth is tracked in a developmental summary record that is used throughout the nursery; when your kid departs, you take it with you to their new school or setting.
Twice a year, the nursery hosts parent/carer evenings to offer parents a chance to meet the key person and discuss their child's progress. It's also a terrific way for us to get to know your kid better at home.
Every child under the age of two is given a daily journal, which our practitioners fill out after each appointment to record pertinent information about your child (such as dirty diapers and mealtimes).
In order to provide parents and caregivers with as much information as possible about their child's day, we will also include information on your child's activities throughout the session and their mood along with any other pertinent remarks.
We also make sure that every member of the team meets with parents or caregivers one-on-one to go over the session.
Similar information will be provided on a daily feedback sheet for children over 2 years old, with a greater emphasis on the daily activities, the current theme, and suggested activities you may do at home.
