From the Westfield Nursery at Queen Mary University of London
At Queen Mary University of London, the Westfield Nursery was founded 25 years ago. The nursery moved to its current 65-space purpose-built location in Bancroft Road in January 2002.
65 spaces are provided for kids between the ages of three months and five years old who are QMUL personnel, students, or people from outside the College.
48 weeks out of the year, the Nursery is open from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.
Bank holidays, two weeks in the summer, and two weeks around Christmas are all times when we are closed.
Your child must be at the childcare by 10.30am. Nevertheless, if you plan to arrive later, please call the Nursery ahead of time to let them know when to expect you. We ask that parents or caregivers call the nursery before 9am to let them know if their kid will not be attending nursery because they are unwell or on vacation. Please let your key person know if your child has an infectious disease. At 6:00 p.m., the nursery shuts. It is crucial that your child gets picked up promptly at the end of the school day.
Safety is of the utmost importance, thus CCTV protects the Westfield Nursery and an automated door entry system connected to the internal office manages entrance to the premises.
The Office for Standards in Education has granted the Nursery registration (Ofsted). On their website, www.ofsted.gov.uk, you can read copies of our most recent Ofsted report.
