Since 1903, Wesley Hall has provided assistance to Spinney Hills and Highfields.
The former Sunday school facilities from Wesley Hall Methodist Church now house the community centre.

In 2003, the center's name was changed from Wesley Hall Community Project to Wesley Hall Community Centre.
Recently, we reinvented our centre and gave it a new name: Active Wesley.
This is done in an effort to make the centre more of a hub for both physical and mental activity-based learning.
