Children who are eligible for 15 hours per week of free early education can begin in the main Nursery School the term after they turn 3 years old.
If this applies to you, your kid will be able to attend nursery school for 5 sessions per week for free. The government also funds some 2-year-olds to attend nursery school.
We have places for 3 and 4 year old children qualifying for the Governments 30 hours funding scheme, and parents should supply their validation code and NI number to the office with their childs registration form to secure a place.
We normally have enough room for all the kids who want it, but we always suggest that you apply long before the start date you desire for your child to join us.
For an application packet, call the office, or download and fill out the form below.
Please note that we will need to see a copy of your childs birth certificate before confirming that we can provide a place for them.
Our admissions committee meets every term, just before the half-term holiday and children will be admitted for the next school term, according to our policy (see policies tab).
We like to ensure that every child has a good transition from home to Nursery so for this reason, we usually only admit the children at the start of each school term.
We set aside time to complete a home visit and arrange a quiet session at Nursery School when you can have a settling in visit with your child.
Below is a copy of our settling in method.
