Today is all about removing the stigma surrounding mental health, by encouraging people to get talking.
The stigma associated with the phrase "mental health" still exists, despite the progress we've made in taking mental health issues seriously.
This stigma may contribute to the high rate of mental health problems in the UK yet low treatment adherence.
According to reports, 1 in 4 persons had mental health difficulties in 2021, yet research indicates that just 36% of those in the UK who have mental health problems are receiving treatment.
These numbers make it very evident that raising awareness of mental health is crucial if we hope to alter how it is perceived.
In order to help you feel more at ease while approaching these conversations, we've put together a few United tips.

When attempting to get someone to open up, open questions are a useful strategy.
