For more than 20 years, Toy Box Preschool has provided term-time daycare for children ages 2 to 5.
In Somerset, close to Castle Cary, the Swainson Building houses the Toy Box Pre-school.
We're open Monday through Friday.
Your child's day will be made up of a variety of engaging scheduled lessons in the morning and the afternoon when he or she will gain knowledge via planned and unstructured play.
The kids may devote the right amount of time to each activity in the early hours of every morning.
The kids get the chance to learn a variety of talents because of this.
On March 6, 2018, Ofsted visited ToyBox for the entire day and came to the conclusion that our preschool meets the Good Ofsted level.
The entire year, we are open for 38 weeks.
Every morning and afternoon session, for a fee of 35p, we give your kid a healthy food and occasionally a reward at snack time.
Children may always get water at any moment.
We cannot enable you to enter the reception area before 9.10am since we share the building and we are not insured to have children in the hall before 9.15am.
The manager can be seen in the morning or you can have a quick talk with your child's main caregiver.
In order to self-register on the boards in the hallway, ask your kid to pick up and bring in a copy of their photo.
We ask that you step back from the entrance and wait for your child to emerge, then gather lunchboxes and coats/bags, whether you pick up at 12.15 or 3.45.
Please pick up as soon as possible.
Please call Toybox before they are scheduled to be picked up if you anticipate being late for any reason.
(If you are not picking up your kid personally, you MUST let the staff know who will be picking up your child in the morning and sign the Book to acknowledge this.
We are dedicated to provide frequent in-service training to our personnel as part of a continuous development programme.
DBS checks are conducted on every member of our committee and employees (formerly CRB).
The pre-school has a key person system where parents may talk to them about any problems or worries they may have.
Although you can schedule a meeting with your key person at any time, key person meetings are scheduled twice a year.
Toybox is where we first ask you to call for a casual conversation.
Following that, you will be required to complete the registration paperwork and send them to Toybox along with a $25 charge.
The price of the Toybox bag, cap, t-shirt, and sweatshirt is included in the registration fee.
The hourly rate is $4.70 for children ages 2 to 3 and $4.60 for children ages 3 to 5.
This is payable whether or not your child attends his or her regular sessions.
You need to talk to the management if your child won't be able to attend for a longer length of time.
