To extend the learning beyond the classroom, we have created a sensory area using planting to connect the children with the seasons and excite the senses through sound, texture, sight and smell.
We at Tiny Tots strongly believe in outdoor play, and we count ourselves fortunate to have direct access from our yard into a piece of private woodland.
Learning outside of the classroom encourages the adoption of active and healthy lifestyles.
Children can interact with the natural world and have experiences that are only available outside of the classroom when they learn outside of the classroom.
Children learn to appreciate and respect nature, the environment, and the interdependence of people, animals, plants, and lifecycles via outdoor play and learning.
