We learned that teaching children basic phonics at Pre-School is a skill that is beneficial and gives them confidence when entering school from talking to reception teachers in nearby schools.
To assist children get ready for school, we start introducing more structured small group teaching activities in pre-school, including phonics and some home learning!
Our Pre-School staff members have received specialised training in the Read, Write, Inc. phonics programme and provide instruction on the fundamental sound sets.
Through a variety of play opportunities and experiences, we educate and inspire our kids while balancing adult- and child-led activities.
We encourage kids to play independently and choose their own interests by offering a loving environment and a wealth of resources.
