Some 2 year olds are eligible for free funding for 15 hours per week. For further information, please contact the Pre-School.
We also wanted to draw attention to the Childcare Voucher programmes that many of you can take advantage of. These can help you save money by deducting the price from your salary before PAYE is taken away (and so reducing the amount of tax you need to pay). Please visit http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/calcs/ccin.htm for additional details. or inquire about the voucher programme they employ by speaking with your HR representative at work. Businesses can purchase childcare vouchers from a number of different organisations, and we are delighted to register with any of them if it is necessary to ensure that you can use your vouchers at our facility.
Some kids will be eligible for 30 hours of free childcare each week starting in September 2017. You and any partner must both expect to make less than $100,000 annually and must each expect to work at least 120 hours per week (equivalent to 16 hours at the National Minimum or Living Wage).
If you believe you qualify, please visit https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/services/schools-and-education/childcare-and-advice-for-parents/free-early-education-and-childcare/free-early-education-and-childcare.aspx to verify and submit an application.
In the event that you are chosen, you will receive a number that you must provide to us in order for us to submit a claim for your hours on your behalf.
Right now, we can give your child 21.5 hours each week. As a result, you might want to use a second setting or child care provider, such as a registered childminder, to make use of your additional entitlement.
