The Stables Nursery is housed in a purpose-built, Scandinavian-style structure that is located in the countryside and is conveniently reachable from nearby towns.
Sarah Porter is the owner of our independent daycare centre. She was an exceptional childminder before becoming a fully qualified primary school teacher. From the time she bought the nursery in September 2016 until the time the children left for school, Sarah turned it into a full-time daycare centre. We have developed close ties with the neighbourhood and are honoured to be a part of the lives of so many local families.
The children have access to a number of spaces, including the main nursery room with constant access to the garden, the den, the front and rear gardens, and the private enclosed fields. To encourage a lifelong love of learning both inside and outside the nursery, we follow the interests of the kids. Every kid has the chance to take part in The Forest School classes, which are held everyday from 9 am to 3 pm. We take use of all four seasons and encourage children to evaluate risks and strengthen their resilience while playing outside so they can get their own knowledge and perspective of the world.
