St Marys Pre-School is operated by a parent committee, has charitable status, and was registered in 1980. It is a charitable organisation with an incorporation number of 1171309. St. Mary's operates out of a one-story structure on the grounds of St. Mary's Church in South Holmwood, Surrey, not far from Dorking. The neighbourhood receives a share of the provision. Children under the age of eighteen and older can get education and care at our pre-school. As soon as they turn two, a youngster may begin. During the school year, the Pre-School is open every weekday. Five days a week, morning courses are held from 9.15 until 12.15, and afternoon sessions are held from 12.45 until 15.45. Every day from 12.15 to 12.45, there is an optional lunch service where kids can bring a packed lunch and eat with their classmates in a monitored setting. The pick-up and drop-off timings for this lunch programme are further flexible for parents and caregivers. The huge space is broken up into different learning zones, such as tabletop activities, floor-based activities, tiny locations to work either alone, 1:1, or in small groups, and we also provide cosy quiet spots. This design promotes learning opportunities to flow freely. The entire year, outside play is conducted in a free-flowing enclosed area unless dangerous circumstances, such as inclement weather, warrant otherwise. We also fully utilise the surrounding environment, such as going on village walks, visiting church grounds, playing on the National Trust local field that is only 50 metres from the building, and exploring the nearby woods. The Pre-School provides services for the neighbourhood, surrounding villages, and Dorking town. For more about St. Mary's classes, costs, admissions, snacks, and much more, please click on the link.
