From the The Outdoors Project Lincoln
Joel and Sam, parents from Hove, founded The Outdoors Project because they needed a holiday programme that offered two things for their own kids.
Joel and Sam wanted to make something for kids that would be more appealing than just suggesting a stroll or a sport.
We are tremendously fortunate to live in Brighton and Hove.
The always changing club activities offer something for every child, allowing youngsters to play outside, make new friends, run about, create things, and be near to nature.
Back in 2009, the initial lessons were held in Hove Park with their kids, friends' kids, a tarpaulin, a Nerf gun, and a games kit.
Fast forward to 2022, and clubs for primary school students are running across the city. These clubs include birthday parties, after-school clubs, parent and toddler groups, school seminars, and the wildly popular vacation clubs.
There are now 8 franchisees for The Outdoors Project in the UK.
What then do the youngsters do at the clubs?
The short answer is that kids enjoy themselves much, meeting friends, breathing in fresh air, connecting with nature, and being as loud or as quiet as they like.
Our technology meets nature activities (Wildcraft vs. Minecraft, Among Us Spy Camp, etc.) bring aspects of the popular video games to reality.
The blending of the two worlds frequently entices reticent kids to visit for the first time, but after they see how much fun the clubs can be, they frequently return for additional, less tech-focused sessions.
Children are always learning; to complete their activities, they must work as a team, using strategy and communication skills.
Children frequently aren't conscious that they are picking up new abilities, but we notice a genuine feeling of play and exploration with the kids.
Children acquire self-assurance, advance their physical and intellectual growth, and smile while having a good time.
Reserve for a day, a week, or longer!
This summer, vacation clubs are operating all throughout the UK.
The Children's Activities Association is honoured to have The Outdoors Project as a member.
The staff is excellent with children, and there are consistently fresh themes to keep things interesting.
