The Marmalade Caterpillar is located in the Heslop Road St. Judes Church Hall. Balham Underground and Overground station is a five-minute stroll from the school. Mr. Darren Walker, who holds a teaching degree, is the head teacher.
The Marmalade Caterpillar's staff members are all highly trained, seasoned, and committed professionals, and they are all under the direction of Head Darren Walker, who was recognised by Kingston University as "the most Outstanding Practitioner." He and his team have created innovative teaching techniques that take into account the diverse learning preferences and passions of young learners. The kids engage in structured activities all day long that are meant to stretch and test their knowledge and skills. All of this is accomplished in a welcoming environment where every kid has a secure learning space. Additionally, allowing children of different ages to play and study together enables them to support one another while forming empowering bonds.
With opportunities to participate in and support the nursery experience, The Marmalade Caterpillar has built a vibrant nursery community that keeps parents interested, encouraged, and engaged in their children's educational development. We value diversity and honour the uniqueness of our families and kids. A smooth transition from home to nursery and from nursery to school is guaranteed by the Marmalade Caterpillar.
There are eight full-time teachers and three substitute teachers working with the Marmalade Caterpillar's 40 students during any given session.
