The Learning Tree is a small, family-run nursery that is tucked away in the hills of the Holme Valley. We have a fantastic outdoor space that gives kids the chance to gain confidence through active learning in nature. We are the first stop on a child's learning journey, and like a tree, we begin small and go through many stages of development. At the Learning Tree, we offer a supportive environment that meets the requirements of each unique child and helps them along the way in the Early Years.
Our goal is to give every child in our care the greatest possible start in life and give them the chance to excel in all facets of education.
Our goal is to offer high-quality services through child-directed and play-based learning experiences. Our guiding principles will encourage kids to be tolerant, courteous, and confident adults. We anticipate that they will develop into well-rounded, content people thanks to this foundation.
We encourage kids to be daring, adventurous, and curious learners. Children should feel comfortable and secure in a setting with a committed staff and be inspired by the world around them every day.
We prioritise safety for all of the children in our care and work to ensure their healthy development. We offer children a stable and predictable atmosphere where they feel empowered to form their own thoughts and opinions through strong parent interactions.
There is a separate outdoor play area for each room. Every room operates under the premise that every child is unique and has various interests, which are developed activities around. Each classroom addresses the Early Years Foundation Stage and the Characteristics of Effective Learning as they relate to the developmental requirements of the age groups it serves.
