Our goal at The Garden Montessori is to integrate the Early Years Foundation Stage with Maria Montessori's educational philosophy and methodology. We also think that kids should spend a lot of time outdoors and have access to unstructured, free-form play so they can explore the world, form relationships, and develop social skills.
We want to provide parents and kids with a service that celebrates variety and encourages equality.
The phrase "Follow the child" is the cornerstone of the Montessori philosophy. Children have a strong internal teacher that they will follow to become independent learners.
Our thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor classrooms allow children to use a variety of self-educating and self-correcting activities to achieve this.
In Italy, Dr. Maria Montessori was the country's first female physician (1896). She created Education for Peace in India during World War II. She received two nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize.
We discover that kids are compelled to play outside. Our outdoor classroom gives kids the freedom to explore and learn about the environment by using natural materials like logs, pine cones, shells, sand, water, and mud.
