In order to help children attain their greatest potential, we are an EYFS-based childcare in Enderby Wharf, Greenwich.
We offer a variety of activities and tools that are age-appropriate to support the development of the children we care for from 3 months to 5 years old, helping them get ready for school.
I'd like to welcome you to our website on behalf of everyone at The Alphabet House Nursery School and hope that it will give you some insight into who we are and how we can make sure that your child receives the finest care and education possible while attending our school.
Our objectives have not changed since our establishment in 1994: to give you, the parent or guardian, a high degree of satisfaction by giving your kid great care and a supportive learning environment at all times throughout each of our nurseries.
We recognise that a child's early years are a crucial time in their development, and a quality nursery education is therefore essential to this crucial period.
This is why at The Alphabet House Nursery Schools, laying a strong foundation for your child's future development is our top priority.
We provide paid hours for kids between the ages of 3 months and 5 years, as well as supported hours for qualified kids between the ages of 2 and 4.
Our curriculum is based on The Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS), which establishes guidelines for the education, care, and development of kids from birth to age five.
It provides all professionals a set of shared values and commitments to provide all children with high-quality early education and childcare experiences.
Each parent will be working with one of our nursery professionals, who will be discussing their child's development with them.
You'll be able to see how well your child is growing and learning if you are aware of what they do when they are with other people.
We think it's important to provide chances for children to learn and develop as soon as they begin attending our facility since learning may begin at any age.
We have been able to focus in on what makes early education successful and have developed a learning programme that enables our kids to join school smoothly because we developed our programmes alongside curriculum experts and childcare specialists.
We instil these ideals in all the kids in our care by treating each one as an individual and with respect.
They come to realise that despite our similarities, we must always treat one another with respect.
We work and partner with outside professionals and agencies such as the Local Early Years Development Team; local play schools; local play groups; companies and all government initiatives to ensure that your child is receiving the highest level of education and support available.
We involve parents in the education of their children in order to support and extend each child's learning and foster a climate of co-operation, respect and to promote mutual understanding.
A good relationship between the home and nursery is seen as being central to the children's success and development.
