The teaching staff is a seasoned group that supports a child-centered methodology.
The Pre-School Manager and Director is Stephanie Credicott; she has a level 3 in child care and all the further training required. The Deputy Manager, Haley Shaw, also has a level 3 in child care.
Our small team successfully and tactfully integrates the Montessori curriculum with the Early Years Foundation Stage, giving every child the opportunity to engage in rich play-based learning. Small teaching teams are advantageous for students because they allow for continuity and consistency, which helps students and teachers build strong relationships.
When primary school spots are assigned, the setting cordially invites Foundation instructors to visit children to see them in a familiar context. This enables the professional sharing of knowledge to give each child with a seamless, informed transition from nursery to school.
