This is one of our key areas of monitoring at Taqwa Nursery.
Childrens learning and development is monitored on a Progress Monitoring Grid which highlights the age band children are working at each term.
Childrens development is evidenced in their Learning Journals, these will be updated throughout the term by the childrens keyworkers and will be available for parents/guardians to view during parents meetings.

Reading area This is a cosy area with carpets, cushions, throws, beanbags and sofas where the children can read books with their key worker or independently.
Home corner this is our role play area and is regularly changed into shops, dress up areas, hospital, vets surgery, school and Masjid depending on the topic being covered.
We also use a Nursery Milk scheme which ensures that each of our children receive a free third-pint bottle of milk (whole for 2 year olds and semi for 3 year olds and above) everyday.
