The community has been served by Sunnymede Pre-school, a privately owned institution, for over 50 years. It now occupies space on Sunnymede Infants School's campus and has access to two classrooms, a garden, and a separate, secure entrance. We share the school's field with the Infants and Junior School, and we are able to use the school hall for our yearly Christmas presentation because to our excellent relationship with both institutions. We support kids as they move to their next school by maintaining positive relationships with all the local schools in Billericay and the other towns. Sunnymede Chapel was the site of the Pre-founding school's in the 1960s. Later, the club relocated to the Outwood Common Community Center, where Jenny Greenwood took control in 1982. The pre-school moved once more in 2007 to the Sunnymede Infant School's campus at Mons Avenue, where it is now. After working at the preschool for 5 years, Jenny's daughter Kate Greenwood was given the opportunity to advance to the role of Manager and Director in 2016, which allowed Jenny to gradually enter retirement. Jenny will continue to serve in that capacity. With Jenny's excellent leadership, our pre-school has succeeded in realising the Government's 5-Year Plan Vision for 2015, which called for Kate to take the helm as the pre-manager school's and early years teacher after accumulating a plethora of business, academic, and people skills experience. Nearly all of the staff members have parenting expertise and Level 3 and 2 daycare certifications.
