Sophia, my daughter, was two when I started the school. I discovered that I needed to provide parents an alternative after researching the local childcare options.
I wanted to adopt Maria Montessori's teaching methods because they harness the child's interests to promote their growth in all areas of learning.
Since opening the school in January 1991, we have taught more than 600 kids while adhering to the Montessori philosophy.
In 2008, we received accreditation from the Montessori Schools Association and incorporated the government's Early Years Foundation Stage into our core values and philosophical framework.
We wanted a relaxed, encouraging environment for our child's first school experience, and we got exactly that with this one.
