From the Sunflower After School Club
Sunflower Club adheres to the Early Years Foundation Stage and the Playwork Principles (which works alongside the Reception teachers for children 5 and under).
A club employee picks up Year 1 and Year 2 students from their classrooms.
Children in the reception class will be assigned a Key Worker in accordance with the standards of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
The staff person who will be your child's keyworker for the first term will be assigned, and we'll let you know about them.
In order to assist the kid acclimate to their time with us at Sunflower Club, whether it be when playing, connecting with friends, or at the snack table, the Key Workers' responsibility is to support and reassure the child.
Your requirements, preferences, and those of your child will be known to the keyworker.
You get the chance to talk to a member of our staff about your child's time at club as parents.
Our keyworkers at Sunflower Club will preserve some written records of your child.
