The children and their parents/caregivers' best interests are always put first at Cygnets Preschool, which is a loving, caring environment.
We are dedicated to maintaining a warm, loving environment where kids may grow, meet friends, and most importantly, have fun.
We offer free government-funded spots for children ages 2, 3, and 4 commencing the term after their birthdays and are registered with the Ofsted.
Every kid is assigned a key person who will collaborate with you to promote their development and who will be in charge of organising exciting activities that are enjoyable and appealing to your child in order to support their success.
We adhere to the Planning in the Moment philosophy at Sturton Cygnets because we believe that children learn best when their interests are followed.
We also employ the updated Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and Development Matters, which is non-statutory curriculum guidance for the early years foundation stage.
The management of the children's learning journals will take place online through a programme called Famly (a copy of the Policy and Procedure is available on request).
Many early childhood facilities use the Famly system, which was developed to facilitate information sharing between early childhood caregivers and families for the benefit of children.
It enables secure uploading of all observations, images, and connections to the curriculum we use for developmental purposes to each child's individual journal.
Our programmes at Cygnets Preschool are designed to give the kids the advantage of carefully thought-out, engaging activities that relate to the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS), while still being adaptable enough to enable child-initiated play.
In order for the kids to like what they are doing and stay involved, we try to make learning as enjoyable as we can.
Because we think that outdoor play is essential to a child's learning and development, we allow them unrestricted access to both the inside and the outdoors every day, no matter the weather.
We ask that your child come prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear, such as a warm coat and wellies in the winter and a sun hat and sunscreen in the summer, so that the weather won't be an obstacle to learning.
There are jumpers with the Cygnets emblem for sale in the area.
