We are a tiny, welcoming preschool in Norton Malreward, a hamlet in the Chew Valley not far from Bristol.
We just celebrated our 40th year as a preschool serving the neighbourhood from our location at the Village Hall in the heart of the community.
We provide a welcoming environment where kids may play and learn side by side.
Our staff provides the children with great care and is well qualified.
We provide a high staff-to-child ratio, usually with at least one adult for every five kids.
We are a volunteer-run organisation, thus a committee made up of parents and volunteers oversees us.
We are a registered charity as well (Charity Number 1055041).
Outdoor taster days: On the second Wednesday of every month, between the hours of 10 and 12, we spend the morning outside in preparation for the commencement of Forest School.
We go to our Forest School location on Fridays for our Forest School session, during which we investigate local natural resources, keep an eye out for nearby wildlife, and have fun playing a variety of activities.
The preschoolers have a variety of toys and materials at their disposal during the day.
Depending on space, we can give your child a spot starting at age two.
For kids starting in the term after their third birthday, or their second birthday if you qualify for two years of financing, we provide the universal Nursery Education Grant (15 financed hours per week).
We provide working parents with a 26.5 hour per week extended offer in addition to the universal grant of 15 free hours during the hours that we are open.
