We are a committee-run, Ofsted-registered pre-school with a long history of providing children between the ages of two and five with excellent childcare (EY419797).
In the spring of 2011, we moved into a purpose-built structure on the grounds of Stalbridge Primary School, further solidifying our ties to the elementary school while maintaining our independence.
The Stalbridge Pre-School is dedicated to protecting the kids in its care.
We provide a joyful, secure, and stimulating environment where kids can succeed in the Early Years Foundation Stage while engaging in a variety of free play activities in a supportive setting both inside and outside. We encourage a "in the moment" approach to learning that aims to extend kids' knowledge by pursuing their interests and providing interactions and enhancements to build on what kids already know and can do.
Our hardworking workforce is all qualified to NVQ/NNEB level 3 or an equivalent, and they all receive ongoing training. Each staff member serves as a key person for a particular group of kids, providing individualised support and motivation as well as documenting learning progress and planning the following steps for their key kids. This information is shared with parents through our Tapestry online learning journals.
