Welcome to our school website, on behalf of the governors, teachers, and students of St. Winifred's RC Primary School.
Being the headteacher of a vibrant, learning community with lovely kids, devoted and helpful staff, supporting governors, and supportive parents makes me proud.
Our family is dedicated to the relationship between the home, school, and parish, and we know that by enlisting their combined efforts, our kids will succeed. In keeping with our shared commitment, we warmly welcome new students to our school as we carry out our purpose of Caritas, or God's Love in Action.
At St. Winifred's, we approach education holistically, putting Christ at the centre of everything we do and emphasising the development of the complete child. In order for our kids to grow in confidence, ambition, and independence as learners and become capable decision-makers in their daily lives, we make sure they receive the support, motivation, and guidance they need.
We think that kids learn best when they are having fun and are actively participating in a curriculum that is applicable to their daily life. So, at St. Winifred's, we impart knowledge through a child-centered, creative curriculum that has Christ's teachings at its core. Our entire curriculum is infused with spiritual, moral, social, and cultural instruction as well. Additionally, we always urge kids to share our high standards for who they may be and what they can accomplish.
