St. Johns is an inclusive and nurturing school set in extensive grounds, close to Central Kenilworth.
We are very lucky that we also have our own Nursery, Out of School Club and Family and Wellbeing Centre under the St Johns umbrella.
We are also a national support school.
We also have an excellent record with training teachers of the future and excellent links in the local community.
Our school also has a very good reputation locally and with the Local Authority.
The school itself is bright, spacious, safe and welcoming.
The teaching team are all fantastic practitioners and all of the St. Johns community from the office, to the kitchen, through to the learning support assistants all subscribe fully to our caring ethos and a real desire for everyone to have high aspirations and high self-esteem.
We are a single form entry school with extra classes in some year groups.
The school is complimented by a learning hub for group work, a well-stocked library, spacious hall and on site kitchen.
All children in Reception, year one and two are entitled to a free school meal.
Our curriculum is a real strength of our school.
Music and the arts are an integral part of our curriculum.
Our curriculum gives children rich and varied experiences including the opportunity to learn Spanish in Years 3-6.
We interview our children regularly to find out their opinions of the school.
The thriving after school club is staffed by our own staff who also subscribe to the schools aims and values.
