From the Spire View Nursery
East Harnham's lush suburbs are home to Spire View Nursery, which is close to all the local facilities.
We provide a service that is open to all kids in the neighbourhood.
to guarantee a warm, family-oriented experience away from home.
We provide a schedule of activities tailored to each child's needs.
Work in collaboration with all parents and caregivers to make sure we continue to satisfy their child's requirements.
To make sure we are still meeting the needs of the parents and the children in our care, we must review and analyse.
Every year, the team and I meet down to plan for the future year.
Celebrations, charity events, parents' nights out, parent fun nights, cuisine tastings, and religious festivals all fall under this category.
In the 40 years that Spire View has been a nursery, there have only been three different owners.
It is a lovely environment with care provided at home.
We take great pride in providing care for children away from their homes, where we interact with all of their families and accompany them as they move through the environment.
About thirteen years ago, we took over the nursery, and since then, it has been a journey unlike any other.
My own three children attended the facility and formed a number of enduring bonds with the teachers and kids there; as a result, they now regard the nursery as a second home when they come to visit.
As the structure was beginning to show its age, we completely refurbished the nursery in 2018. We opened up rooms to provide a light and airy environment, and we kept offering separation to different age groups so they could grow and, most importantly, have fun.
People frequently comment on how serene the nursery is and how involved the kids and staff are in the day-to-day operations.
In 2008, we developed our kitchen to allow home cooked meals to form part of the nursery day and I can honestly say the children are extremely well fed.
The kids are quite willing to try new foods because we have so many different cultural meals.
Our parents are surprised at the type of meal their children will eat and enjoy in the setting, so we also invite the parents to try our meals on a regular basis during parent events.
