A volunteer trustee group made up of parents, caregivers, and community members manages the team of highly qualified and committed employees at Sowood Preschool. We are a nonprofit with an Ofsted registration that serves young learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage between the ages of 2 and statutory school entry. All children can access us, and we have a beautiful outside play space that is completely enclosed as well as a big hall, playroom, and side room. Every day, we provide a tasty school meal and pudding, or kids can pack their own lunch. In order to keep costs low, we kindly ask parents and caregivers to donate 1 snack every week. Snack time is provided in both the morning and afternoon sessions. The term-based invoices will include this. Development Matters provides the direction for our support of children's learning and development (2021). Every child is a special individual who is always learning and is capable of being resiliant, competent, confident, and self-assured. Children learn and grow successfully in supportive environments where their experiences are tailored to meet their specific requirements and there is a close working relationship between educators, parents, and caregivers. Children born between January 1 and March 31: the start of the school year on or after April 1, the day after the child turns three. Children born between 1 April and 31 August: the beginning of the school year on or after the first day of September after the child's third birthday. Children born between 1 September and 31 December: the start of the school year on or after the first day of the month following the child's third birthday.
