Greetings and thanks for visiting Songbirds Day Nursery and Kids Club.
I am the setting's owner and registered individual, and my name is Susan Goodwin.
Since I've spent my entire life in Preston, the neighbourhood knows me well.
After my sister needed to return to work but was unable to locate acceptable daycare, I opened the Nursery in 1997.
In order to meet the demand, I opened a small nursery with the same ethos and values that I hold dear, such as small class sizes and offering high-quality childcare for parents and kids from 3 months to 11 years old.
The Nursery has its own parking lot and is situated amid private gardens that total half an acre.
We adhere to the Eco and Nurture philosophy and think that the natural world has a significant impact on children's learning.
Our mission is "the Village Nursery," which, in my opinion, reflects the attitude and the compassion of those who care for and teach the children.
I am an early years teacher with a BA (Hons) in early years and Early Years Professional Status (EYPS).
I sincerely hope that your child enjoys their time at my nursery, pre-school, and kids club. I am also open to recommendations for how to expand the nursery further.
Staff provide a comfortable setting with a strong sense of family.
