From the Seesaws Day Nursery
Seesaws Day Nursery & Nursery School was established in 1994 with the goal of changing the institutional atmosphere of child nurseries and giving staff and students a second family.
We now operate 5 nurseries in Birmingham and Wolverhampton, together with 2 vacation programmes and before- and after-school programmes.
As a result, Seesaws has trained over 300 young people through national apprenticeship programmes, and nobody in the business is untrained or unqualified.
In November 2019, my position underwent another shift, and as the Deputy General Manager, I now assist Claire Slater in overseeing the general day-to-day operations of the nurseries.
In the East Midlands, I also joined the board of a big social housing provider, where I rose to the position of group chair, which I held until my term ended in 2019.
