The children who attend our setting receive very high quality integrated care and education from Seedlings Montessori, which accepts children from the age of two to five. The nursery employs a Montessori methodology and gives parents a choice between full-day care and more condensed pre-school hours. Under the Government's nursery education financing scheme, Seedlings offers free nursery education. We are registered with and subject to inspections by Oftsed. We operate within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS).
The national standards authority for Montessori education, Montessori Education (UK), has also fully accredited Seedlings Montessori.
Because Seedlings is located on the campus of Moorlands Primary School, we gain from being a part of the school's community and can help our kids adjust to mainstream education more easily. In addition to a dedicated, shaded, all-weather facility, we have access to a huge field, a large asphalt area, a smaller field, a meadow, and a wooded area. This makes it a well-liked option for parents searching for before- and after-school care, as well as vacation club activities that cater to kids aged 4 to 9.
Since we began operating on this site in 2001, we have continuously received favourable Ofsted ratings.
We promise that you will get the entire amount of the grant funding we receive in respect of your child's free attendance even if your kid spends more time at Seedlings than the grant-funded hours over the course of 39 weeks. We will invoice you for this additional time on a year-round basis. The grant money is not top-sliced by us. For families that qualify and have their financing code, we offer spots covered by the full 30 hours of funding.
