Being a mom myself, I am aware of how crucial it is to select the best school for our kids.
Normally, we invite potential families to visit Hillcross so they can witness for themselves our positive and collaborative attitude, how enthusiastic we are about learning and ensuring our kids grow as people, and so you can meet our great kids and staff.
Important details that prospective parents frequently inquire about when they visit the school (scroll down the page).
Here is a video clip that will allow you to watch our school in action.
From KS1 to the conclusion of KS2, our more gifted students perform admirably and make progress that exceeds expectations.
High prior attaining students made a 3.26 measure of progress in arithmetic, which is higher than the national average of 0.2, and a 1.68 measure of progress in writing, which is more than the national average of 0.2.
Children who are considered to be disadvantaged also progress above average in arithmetic, reading, and writing.
At Hillcross, we believe that all of our students can succeed. Each student, regardless of ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic background, prior achievement, or SEND requirements, is given access to a coherent curriculum that offers the challenges and scaffolds they need to advance and succeed.
Our in-school data since the most recent statutory assessment data for the academic year 2018–19 suggests that this growth pattern persists, so that year after year, our kids make above average learning progress. We track all children's progress on a term-by-term basis.
