Life at Rosedene revolves around Forest & Beach School. Both venues offer a motivating educational method that gives all kids regular chances to succeed and boost their self-esteem through practical learning opportunities in a woodland or coastal environment. We create environments that give our kids the freedom to experience risk and the vibrant reality of the natural world, as well as the freedom to feel a healthy range of emotions through all the difficulties of social interaction, in order to develop the kind of resilience that will allow them to continue and creatively engage with their peers and realise their full potential.
Every session and programme is filled with discovery and enchantment thanks to the child-led approach's integration with the natural world's constantly shifting moods, circumstances, resources, and challenges throughout the varied seasons. Every lesson follows a similar set of guiding principles designed to guarantee that all students enjoy the cumulative and long-lasting advantages that Forest & Beach School provides.
Our in-house Level 3 Beach School Leaders and Level 3 Forest School Leaders are in charge of creating and designing our programmes.
As recent study has confirmed, the outdoors stimulates children and young people, who typically see an increase in their emotional well-being, learning capacity, excitement, and communication and problem-solving skills over time. Additionally, they learn to rely on their peers for assistance, support, and advice as they forge deep bonds with them.
We regularly update our parents on their child's Forest & Beach School philosophy, and the associated photography is accessible via our Rosedene app following each session.
