From the Robins Nest Nursery
Robins Nest (formally known as Blue Giraffe childcare) is a family owned nursery where we nurture and prepare children aged 0 5 years in a warm and loving environment before they are ready to fly the nest and spread their wings.
We recognise that the all childrens needs are unique and paramount.
Providing a safe and secure environment which extends and develops all areas of a childs development.
Enabling all children to develop their skills to the best of their ability.
Encouraging good nutrition during the early years of life is therefore an investment at Robins Nest nursery as we know how essential it is to their health.
With this in mind, we provide nutritious meals, snacks and drinks from our four week menu to ensure repetitiveness is kept to a minimum and the children receive a varied palette of food.
Our approach to safety and security is holistic; beginning at the front door and continuing right through to staff selection, training and, of course, security systems and safety procedures.
There are two front doors where we have installed one of the best Access Control Systems available on each door, there is also a holding area so only authorised personnel can enter the building.
All back doors have a key which is with a member of staff at all times, and only open during use.
The nursery is protected by high walls and a barrier for extra security.
When recruiting our staff, we only choose people who genuinely love working with children.
As many of us are parents ourselves, we understand the high level of trust required to hand your child over to other caregivers.
We go to great lengths to keep our nursery and children safe at all times.
The good news is that we always have a first aider on duty within the nursery at all times.
All of our nursery staff receive training, so that urgent intervention is immediately on hand in the unlikely event of it being required.
We are a family owned nursery, our longstanding staff team are committed to providing high quality care using our key worker system.
Formally known as Blue Giraffe childcare.
We aim to provide a safe, stimulating environment that will extend and develop childrens learning.
