The Jelly Babies Room is designed to suit the needs of children between 4 months and 2 years old.
We also use and follow the EYFS on tapestry which will be set up when your child starts at Rainbow Nursery.
We have different areas in the room which allow the children to explore and engage in a wide range of activities and toys.
Our Jelly Babies Room has its own separate Sleep Room, we have six cots and provide beds for children that are soon to transition into our Jelly Tots Room.
This room provides the quite needed for sleep time and is away from the main room.
The Jelly Tots room is designed to suit the needs of the children aged 2-3 years old.
In Jelly Tots we have two areas for the children to explore and interact with a variety of toys.
In another part of the room we have a writing and mark making table and a tray for sensory exploration.
We have a Self Care Station for water bottles, cups and tissues with a mirror to promote the childrens independence.
Attached to our room we have our own garden which we use for free flow play.
We also use the main garden and woodland area to provide additional outdoor experiences.
The Jelly Beans room is designed to suit the needs of the children aged 3 years to School age.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which sets the standard of learning and development and promotes the inclusion of all children.
This is reinforced in the planning of the room for each child.
We have all areas of development on offer for the children to explore and engage in.
Our room is sectioned into Role Play Area, Quiet/Cosy Area for looking at books, Construction Area, Small World Play, Maths Area, Mark Making and Craft Area, Sensory and Messy Play Area.
We have adult led activities during both the morning and afternoon that require children to focus and keep concentration.
As a room we have our own garden which allows us to free flow between inside and out, and we also use the main garden.
