Being the owner and manager of Puddleducks is an honour and a great privilege for me. After running the setting as a committee-run nonprofit for 4.5 years, I decided to make an offer to purchase the company when the committee struggled to bring on new members and was in need of a change. After unanimous approval from the committee and parents, Puddleducks and I officially launched our new business in June 2021.
I've worked in the early years field for more than 16 years. I've held a variety of positions over the years, including Practitioner, Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), Senior Practitioner, Room leader, and Management for 12 years.
When my wife and I spend time together during the weekends and on holidays, my three beautiful children join me in embracing Puddleducks! They consider it to be their second home. My entire family frequently lends a hand there.
I work with a fantastic staff group that is always enthusiastic and motivated to support our kids' learning in a special and enjoyable way. Together, they form the Puddleducks family's core, bringing a wide range of talents, abilities, and wisdom to the table.
Family engagement is essential to our children's wellness and educational performance, and working with families as a whole rather than just with the child is one of my loves. Every day, we offer support, direction, and a warm face to each of our families through our strong collaboration with parents and caregivers and wonderful relationships.
