years ago I set out to find a local nursery to care for my first precious baby boy because I was making the dreaded return to work.
I had a vision for what a nursery should be, and I set about making that a reality.
I embarked on a two-year long journey of planning, meetings, research, and many sleepless nights and on June 25th, 2012, Puddleducks opened its doors.
It has been the most amazing journey and I feel truly blessed to have met and worked with so many amazing babies, children, and their families.
Our staff team has grown from 3 to 30, and I must give recognition to the truly wonderful people I have working with me, who really do make Puddleducks the place it is.
They support my values and ethos and work tirelessly to provide the very best care for our children.
We are a close-knit team; we laugh lots; many of us are parents ourselves and therefore share the trials and tribulations of parenting, but most importantly we all share the same view that babies and children deserve the very best care and early education that we can possibly provide, and we will always strive to achieve that.
I put our success down to good old-fashioned hard work, passion and unwavering commitment.
The baby who inspired me to open Puddleducks is now at secondary school, and as tall as me!
All 3 of my children have had a wonderful start at Puddleducks, and I will continue to use them and my values as a parent to set the standards within what is most definitely my fourth baby, Puddleducks.
