Thanks for visiting Preston Community Preschool.
Our preschool received an Outstanding Ofsted in 2011 and in Dec 2016 and takes children from under 2 years until they start school at 5 years old and is a registered charity.
This helps us to give time and attention to each child, talk with the children about their interests and activities, help children to experience and benefit from the activities we provide and allow the children time to explore and be adventurous in a safe environment.
At Preston Community Preschool, we foster a happy environment that supports family life and fosters children's development.
To enhance the development and education of preschool children in a safe, secure and stimulating environment;.
To ensure all children regardless of gender, race, religion or ability are given the opportunity to experience a challenging and enjoyable programme of learning and development;.
To work within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and to help your child achieve the Governments five Every Child Matters outcomes.
However here at Preston Community Preschool our emphasis will always be learning through play;.
To demonstrate Christian values and be active members of the local community, by creating a positive atmosphere that encourages childrens learning and promotes family life.
We are a church preschool and as such, we have close links with other groups and events in the church.
We aim to create a Christian ethos and give priority to Christian teaching where relevant within the curriculum.
Although not all staff are churchgoers, all are sympathetic to the Christian ethos.
Ofsted came to inspect us early December 2016, we are very proud to have received an OUTSTANDING report from Ofsted for the second time!.
