We have created a homely environment with a bright and airy room, a separate messy play room, a cosy sleep room and a secure outdoor play space.
The nursery has its own gated entrance in the off street barriered car park, with a large welcoming reception area leading to our spacious rooms.
The main room is bright and airy set up with dedicated areas for child led play.
We always say, dont send your children to our nursery in their best clothes!.
We have space for 20 children between the ages of birth to 4 years, cared for and inspired by a very experienced team.
No two days are the same, our dedicated team create an inviting environment where the children feel that wow moment.

At Poppies Day Nursery we believe in the benefits of mixed age groups.
In a mixed-age classroom, older children who are completing challenging lessons are an example to the younger children; they show what is possible.
We love watching the older children support & engage with the babies, as they empathetically feed and care for the little ones, demonstrating beautiful role modelling .
Working in a mixed age environment is a fabulous experience for our staff, allowing sustained shared thinking & strong working relationships.
