We constantly monitor our kids and compile a record of their experiences while they are with us in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
We do this by working with parents and caregivers using an online portal called Tapestry, which enables us to share information and document the kids' play and learning both within and outside of preschool.
Each child receives a personal Learning Journal from Tapestry that is kept online. The login information for parents and caregivers is their email address and password. After that, our team uploads observations, pictures, or videos, documenting the children's accomplishments and evaluating their learning in light of the EYFS programme.
When a new observation is added, parents are notified via email so they can review it and provide any further remarks.
All of the kids' learning journals are available to preschoolers. Only you and your child will have access to your child's account.
Every term, we also welcome parents for a discussion to celebrate successes and discuss how to move forward with learning.
Our strong relationships depend on cooperating with parents and extended families. We organise events that are focused on the children's interests as well as particular familial and regional holidays.
We welcome parents to participate in our programmes and storytime.
Our facility's proximity to a playground gives the kids the opportunity to play games, investigate the playthings, and evaluate their own risks. These chances give kids the chance to concentrate on their larger environment and hone their gross motor abilities.
Furthermore, the nearby Kennall Vale Nature Reserve allows for additional exploration missions. In turn, this broadens the kids' comprehension of their surroundings and the wider natural world.
