The oldest nursery in Chorley is called Pipers; it first opened its doors in 1974.
There is a well established team, many of whom have been working at Pipers for over 10 years.
Pipers pride ourselves on our homely atmosphere and loving environment.
Highly qualified staff provide expert care and encouragement which nurtures children to learn and develop naturally as they grow.
We provide a secure, happy and caring environment with lots of stimulating and fun resources to feed inquisitive minds and help develop their personalities, talents and abilities.
The room is set out in exciting areas to promote learning and development, including areas for children to relax.
This room is for children aged between 2 and 3 years, however younger children are sometimes introduced into this room if developmentally it is agreed between yourself and your childs key worker that they are ready.
The dedicated staff put their hearts and efforts into creating a warm and welcoming environment for the children they lovingly care for.
The room has a self-contained bathroom and nappy changing facilities.
This room is for children aged from 3 and 5 years, and provides a positive, caring and friendly environment for children to play, explore and learn the all-important skills for the best start in life.
We aim to create a learning environment which is safe, welcoming and exciting.
All rooms are defined with the seven areas of learning and development in mind.
At Pipers we believe that our staff are our best resource and many of them have worked at the nursery for many years.
We strive to continue to further develop their skills and knowledge by actively encouraging them to attend further training courses.
