We appreciate your interest in the Pickering Pre-school Playgroup. We are a small, welcoming group that meets in a temporary building on the grounds of the Pickering Community Infant & Nursery School on Ruffa Lane. For the activities and care we offer for children, we are frequently referred to others.
We are aware that your first priority is to locate a pre-school playgroup that provides the ideal environment for your child and that recognises the value of earning your trust and confidence as a parent. We focus our efforts on fostering a joyful and caring atmosphere while advocating for the highest standards of early care and education. Our intention is to offer a satisfying and inspiring experience that will significantly influence your child's learning and development in the future.
Our knowledgeable, amiable staff is committed to fostering fun and education. They will collaborate with you to support your child's growth as an individual while nurturing and promoting learning via exploration and enjoyment. In addition to providing education via play and creativity, we take satisfaction in knowing how critical it is to build confidence and excitement in children from an early age. So that they look forward to returning tomorrow, we want the kids to feel safe and content right away.
To document and track children's progress in accordance with the Early Years curriculum "Development Matters," we utilise the Tapestry Online Learning Journal.
In order to help children develop their speech, language, and communication abilities in preparation for school, we are now participating in the "Grow and Learn" pilot project.
