From the Penrith Pre-School Nursery
Following their third birthday, all children can attend Penrith Preschool during the school year.
With the option of additional wrap-around day care (care provided outside of sessional hours to assist in meeting the needs of working parents), we provide flexible grant-funded sessions between the hours of 8.30 am and 4 pm.
Up to 30 hours of free nursery care each week, which can be used in hourly blocks, are allotted to each kid.
When the kids host their annual Nativity and Easter Bonnet Parade, parents are especially encouraged to visit the preschool nursery.
We host parent evenings where parents and caregivers can come and learn about the EYFS and meet the key worker who has been assigned to their child.
Additionally, we host termly "Stay and Play" events where parents and guardians are welcome to participate in the day's activities, watch how their children interact with peers, and speak with their child's keyworker.
At Penrith Preschool, Christmas is always a fun time with activities including a Christmas Craft Day, writing and mailing letters to Santa, and a Nativity Play in which all the kids participate.
We are proud of our connections with the primary schools in Penrith and the surrounding area. Penrith Preschool Nursery feeds the local primary schools.
We will assist with transitional visits to the school of your choice and, as necessary, communicate with the teaching staff.
Toddlers between the ages of 16 months and 3 years can participate in our well-liked practitioner-led play sessions.
This facility, as the name implies, is for you and your child, and our welcoming practitioner will facilitate a play-based session there.
Our knowledgeable, amiable staff is here to develop and promote learning through exploration and play.
All employees receive ongoing training from a rolling curriculum and have extensive training.
We provide school and university students with the chance to train with us throughout the academic year in order to gain a plethora of expertise.
