The nursery is a family-run company with three Directors as the owners. Sylvia Dobson, Lyndsay and Julian Aldridge, and their spouses.
We took over the nursery as Over the Rainbow in January 2015 and made considerable changes and enhancements to the facilities and services we provide when it first opened as Imagine Day Nursery in 2005. Our most recent Ofsted report, which can be obtained by clicking here, reflects our commitment to offering the highest possible standards of care.
Our team of highly skilled employees, whose committed and enthusiastic approach guarantees that we have a nursery full of secure, content children, is something we take great pride in.
I have been the owner and manager of a childcare facility in Nottingham for the past ten years. I've learned a lot about the care and educational requirements needed in a nursery setting as a result of my work in this position. I completed an Early Years Foundation Degree in Early Years Studies as part of my personal professional development, and I am now a level 5 qualified individual. One of the main factors in our decision to move on with the new initiative of becoming one of the new owners of Over the Rainbow Day Nursery in Ashton-in-Makerfield, for which I am the nominee, is my enthusiasm for child care.
